What an account is for
Fire alerts by email: for a town, a whole region or a country, or a single fire, so we tell you when it stops showing, starts again or grows sharply. Filing a beach report. Adding a photograph. Nothing else needs one: every page on this site is readable without signing in and stays that way.
What we do with the address
Send you the link, and send what you asked to be sent. Every message carries an unsubscribe link that needs no login, and there is a button in your account that deletes the address and everything attached to it.
